Bizzomate, specialist in software solutions for digitizing and optimizing business processes, has opened a new office in Aachen. After opening offices in Valkenburg, Dordrecht and Amsterdam, the opening of the German office marks the first step for Bizzomate towards the international market.
Marc Gelissen, founder and CEO of Bizzomate explains the reasoning behind this choice: “We see the increasing demand for low-code in Europe. We were quick to adapt low-code in the Netherlands and we see a strongly increasing interest in Germany. The takeover of Mendix by Siemens has played a major role in this, because low-code is now being embraced by an originally German multinational. This opens many doors for companies in our neighbouring country. In determining our strategy for the future, expansion to Germany was a logical next step, given our ten years of experience in the field of low-code.”
Bizzomate initially focuses on companies from the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. Gelissen: “The economy of North Rhine-Westphalia is as large as that of the Netherlands, with many ‘hidden champions’ active. These niche companies are growing strongly, are internationally oriented and are often European or global market leaders in their segment. These companies also need to take the next step in optimising their IT infrastructure, which is our expertise.”
By establishing itself in the centre of Aachen, Bizzomate hopes to attract IT talent from the highly regarded RWTH technical university. In addition, many spin-offs in the region have emerged from the research function of the university, which are now ready to digitize their business. Gelissen: “When you consider that Aachen is only half an hour away from our location in Valkenburg, the choice is easily made. This way, colleagues from that location can work on a project in Germany and vice versa. It is our goal to remain one Bizzomate team, regardless of borders. We therefore aim for steady growth, so that we can ensure continuity while retaining our high level of knowledge, our good customer relations and our company culture.”
